Brake Upgrades

Pad Upgrades (Best Value)

- Street/Track: Hawk HP+, StopTech Sport
- Track only: Hawk DTC-60, Ferodo DS2500, Pagid RSL
Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Fluid Upgrade
Section titled “Fluid Upgrade”- Street: ATE Typ 200 (higher boiling point DOT 4)
- Track: Motul RBF600 or Castrol SRF
Rotor Upgrades
Section titled “Rotor Upgrades”- Slotted: StopTech, Power Slot — better bite and degassing
- Drilled: Zimmermann cross-drilled — better cooling, risk of cracking under track use
- Two-piece rotors: DBA, Girodisc — lighter, better cooling
Big Brake Kits
Section titled “Big Brake Kits”For serious track use:
- E46 M3 caliper swap: Bolt-on with correct brackets, 4-piston front
- StopTech ST-40: 4-piston, 332mm or 355mm front
- Brembo GT: 4-piston, 345mm+ front
- Note: May require 18”+ wheels for clearance
