Fuse Box Locations

The E46 has two main fuse locations:

1. Glove Box Fuse Panel

• Location: Behind the glove box door, on the right side of the dashboard
• Access: Open glove box, push in the sides to release the stops, lower the door fully
• Contents: ~31 fuses for interior and body electronics

2. Engine Bay Fuse Box (E-Box)

• Location: Right side of the engine bay, behind the strut tower
• Access: Release the clips on the E-box cover and lift off
• Contents: High-current fuses and relays for engine systems

Additional Relay Locations

• Behind glove box: Additional relays mounted to the body
• Trunk area: Battery junction box for trunk-mounted battery fuse
• Under dashboard (driver’s side): ABS/DSC relay
