Option Codes
Option Codes
Section titled “Option Codes”BMW option codes (also called SA codes) identify factory-installed equipment. Each code follows the format S###A, where the number block indicates the equipment category. You can decode your car’s options using the production sticker or VIN.

Decoding Your Options
Section titled “Decoding Your Options”- Use your VIN at a BMW decoder website (e.g. mdecoder.com or bimmer.work)
- Check the production sticker in the engine bay or inside the boot lid
- BMW dealers can provide a full option list from the VIN
